About Burien & Wellness
Since our incorporation in 1993, Burien, a 100-year-old community with a rich heritage, has been busy defining and redesigning itself as a vibrant King County city. Given the size of the city, Burien has an unusually large number of wellness providers including: local and internationally-renowned hospitals, compassionate health centers and clinics, dozens of established and well-regarded private practice doctors, dentists and other wellness specialties.
Many of these organizations are providing innovative state-of-the-art services and procedures in a humble, community-oriented fashion. By combining resources and participating in joint-promotional activities, Burien Wellness hopes to raise visibility of the excellent care options available in Burien. Doing so, it hopes to attract talented and highly-skilled workers to live and work in the community.
